The Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day Twelve
Jan. 12th, 2014 06:42 pmDay 12 of the Fandom Snowflake Challenge: In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom. What are your hopes and dreams for fandom? Do you have any predictions about what the next five years holds for fandom?
I'm pretty new to fandom, if not fannishness, so I haven't experienced how things ebb and flow. I can't really offer any useful predictions about what the next five years will bring, although I think BtVS will always be an active fandom, because the show is just that special, and its themes are pretty timeless. I hope, hope, hope that people will keep writing and creating and reading Spander and other BtVS/AtS slash pairings, and I hope that it keeps happening on livejournal.
And I'm a tad rushed because I have guests coming over, so apologies for giving this less attention than I'd like.
