And I have to say, the hive mind is a crazy thing. I'm half way through writing my fall for sx story which treads some similarish ground, so when I read this, I squeaked and nearly deleted my file. But once I stopped hyperventilating, I reminded myself that there's plenty of room in fandom for more than one take on events, so I'm going to carry on and see where it takes me. *g*
Having said that, this really is super. Your drabbles are wonderfully elegant and I envy you the talent of being able to tell a huge story is so few words. I find drabbles almost impossible to do! :)
