Thank you re: Spike, because I really have trouble writing him. I think because...he's so complex and rich and fully drawn in canon, it's easy to go astray with the character. Whereas I feel the canon on Xander isn't as tight -- I like Xander on the show a lot, but I really fell in love with him in fanfic. So I feel freer stretching that character a bit. That's why I usually end up writing his POV.

Re: the sex -- sigh. I just want to figure out how to get better at it. I mean, better at *writing* it. To be able to reveal something about the characters through the sex, and have it reveal something to themselves and to each other. I just don't have a sense of how to do this yet.

Also, I'd like to make it hotter.
